Bold Being, Eva Minkoff

I have spent nearly two decades working across almost every corner of healthcare.

Clinical and bench research.
Bedside care.
Healthcare media and marketing.
Startups — as a co-founder and as an early employee at multiple companies.

I have also lived inside the healthcare system as a chronic patient for over twenty years, navigating diagnoses that took most of that time to name.

And I have spent over a decade as the partner of a physician, watching what the system asks of clinicians up close, at home, in real time.

That breadth gave me an unusual vantage point.

Across every setting and every angle, I kept watching the same thing happen:

Brilliant healthcare leaders would hit a high-stakes transition — a new role, a system overhaul, an industry disruption — and go into survival mode.

They would lose access to the very judgment that made them exceptional.

Their decisions got reactive.
Their teams felt it.
Their outcomes reflected it.

That pattern is what pulled me into coaching.

My TEDx talk, which has over 36,000 views, is about the patient-doctor relationship — specifically what breaks down in it and why. The surface topic is different from my coaching work, but the underlying diagnosis is the same:

When people are under sustained pressure, they stop trusting themselves in the room.

For leaders, that costs them everything downstream — their decisions, their teams, their results.

Bold Being exists to interrupt that cycle at the source.

Most senior healthcare leaders are not struggling because they lack skill or strategy. They are struggling because the pressure is so relentless that they have defaulted to autopilot.

Through deep, personalized coaching and leadership development, I work with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and high-stakes decision-makers to reclaim durable agency and decisiveness — so they can lead the transformation healthcare needs, not just survive it.

The work is not operational.
It is not technical.
It goes deeper than that.

One of my clients, a Chief Patient Safety and Quality Officer, came into our work during a particularly destabilizing transition. Within 3 months of working together, his department had practically eliminated ED wait times, saved over $20M from a single initiative, and the hospital ended up reaching its best financial and quality year on record.

He was promoted to CMO within one year.

That is what leadership from the inside out actually produces.

This is not soft work.
It is the foundational work.

The kind that makes everything else possible.

Bold Being is here to walk alongside you—as your partner—while you lead what comes next with intention, courage, and impact.

Whether you're holding a vision, navigating a breakdown, or ready to lead in a whole new way—you’re in the right place.
